brontesanvilSo I'm the HG for a Horizon Gothic game about people who live in a mysterious house and inheriting from the deceased Dougal Forsyth and the fall out of all of his actions and death.
I thought I'd put together some campaign notes in spaces where most of my players won't catch them, though nothing is stopping them from reading my plots except honor.
One thing is that while I will talk broadly about PCs, I'll not reveal who the PCs are specifically or their players to preserve anonymity for the most part.

The Immediate Family of Dougal Forsyth
I thought I'd put together some campaign notes in spaces where most of my players won't catch them, though nothing is stopping them from reading my plots except honor.

Current Unbearable Goals:
- Flesh out Dougal Forsyth (the deceased's) siblings and parents and the more core enigmas of the family legacy/estate.
- Also the extended family.
- Flesh out Forsyth Support Staff
- Flesh out initial Called Away stuff for one player.
- Flesh out PC Supporting Cast.
- Porcelain Society. Moderate priority
- Put together a Magical Skill: Abominable Science. Low priority.
- All subject to change when Quests and Miracles happen, but it's good to have a guideline or broad road map.

The Immediate Family of Dougal Forsyth
- Unnamed Father: A stuffed shirt type who reacted to the responsibilities of Forsyth leadership by imposing ritual, custom, and rules against the enigmas at the heart of the Forsyth line (whatever I decide those are).
- Unnamed Mother: An adventuress of some kind, which I should expand upon because one of the PCs was bequeathed a weapon of hers.
- Dougal Forsyth: The fallen patriarch of the Forsyth clan. Some manner of Abominable Scientist with a string of bad decisions and broken deals with questionable powers. His response to the Forsyth enigmas was to try and master them and/or make more enigmas to challenge them.
- PC Brother: An admiral in some kind of Drowned Navy that waged war on the strange things of the Outside and the Bleak. Now retired.
- Blair Forsyth-Hamasaki: Fought off her father's suitors and ran away with the Hamasaki kid to form a fishing group in Fortitude. Dougal has never contested this, but whether that is out of genuine affection or some combination of his disdain for decorum and mores and their gifts of kaiju to dissect remains unclear.
- Perdita Forsyth: The intended heir of Forsyth leadership, only to wind up cast out and Dougal given the position (Note: I could not find a lot of names that meant 'lost').
